Evan Holmes,
Analyst, recently joined Hunden Strategic Partners from a background in destination development facilities. In his role, Mr. Holmes conducts economic, market and financial feasibility research for a variety of projects as well as comparable development analyses. He is currently working on studies for conference/convention center projects in Missouri, North Carolina and Indiana. He has also conducted a study of the Kentucky Speedway expansion, an amphitheater study, a mixed-use retail/entertainment district study and currently is assessing the impact of the Ark Encounter Theme Park for the Kentucky Tourism Development Act. In addition, he has conducted studies on recreational facilities, a community hockey facility and impact work for US Cellular Field.
Mr. Holmes brings a unique perspective to Hunden Partners due to his background as a facility manager on both the collegiate and professional levels. He has worked in variety of operational roles, including positions with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Ohio University Athletics, Chicago Cubs, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the Indiana Pacers.
In addition to his facility management background, Mr. Holmes has served as a consultant with Ellerbe Becket, conducting feasibility and financial analysis studies for athletic facility renovations and development, ranging from NFL Stadiums to NAIA soccer facilities. He also served as a small business consultant for the George Voinovich School where he provided operational and financial consultation for small businesses in the Appalachian region of Ohio.
A graduate of Ohio University’s Masters of Business Administration and Sports Administration dual degree program, Mr. Holmes also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Ohio University.
