Kenneth T. Freebairn, Analyst recently joined Hunden Strategic Partners while completing his Masters of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Roosevelt University in Chicago. He had been with Magna Hospitality in Evanston, Illinois. There he sat on the executive committee and ran the Food and Beverage operations for a North Shore convention hotel. Previously, Ken owned and operated a West Loop fine dinning restaurant.
Ken is also part owner of FINMER, SA. a Mexican property management company, where he also provides consulting services. Fluent in Spanish, Ken also sits on the Board of Directors of the SUMAC Foundation, a charitable organization providing legal, educational and social opportunities to Hispanics in the U.S. and Mexico. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Loyola University of Chicago.
At HSP, Ken has provided consulting services for projects ranging from a Spanish hotel project in a major U.S. city to downtown real estate studies for Grand Rapids, Michigan and Birmingham, Mississippi. Other project experience includes the Grand Victoria Resort & Casino in Rising Sun and a convention hotel study for Amarillo, Texas.
