Stephen Bauer,
Analyst, joined Hunden Strategic Partners from a position at Towers Perrin. At HSP, he serves as a research analyst, working on economic and market analysis for a variety of projects, including a meeting and hotel facility study for Mansfield, Texas and a youth and minor league sports complex in the Midwest. His work on comparable and competitive analysis for meeting facilities includes a dozen HSP projects from coast to coast. The research includes statistical profiles of various comparable facilities across the U.S. to understand how such facilities are financed, managed, and utilized to create destinations and economic impact for local communities.
Stephen received his Bachelors of Science in Planning and Economic Development from Georgia State University. While attending school in Atlanta, he worked on several projects to analyze and report demographic and statistical data and focused much of his research on mixed-use development as well as public housing. In addition to his work at HSP, he is currently attending DePaul University to earn a Professional Certificate in Geographic Information Systems.
Mr. Bauer is a member of the American Planning Association, the APA Georgia and Illinois Chapters and the Chicago Map Society. He also an active participant at Lake View Citizen’s Council meetings and volunteers for Chicago Cares, an organization that helps to build stronger communities by providing assistance to children, seniors, and the homeless.
